Lawrence C. Hoehne

Lawrence C. Hoehne, 81, of La Grange died Jan. 10, 2014. He was a twin, his brother and him were born May 2, 1932, at home on the farm in Hostyn, son of Edwin C Hoehne and Lillie Hoehne. He married Shirley Mae Watson, Jan. 3, 1958 in Houston. Retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. and moved back to the farm where he was born and raised. Served his country as a corporal in the United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and working with cattle on the farm. He is survived by his sister, Junell Getschmann; brother-inlaw, Delvin Getschmann; son, Lawrence C. Hoehne Jr. (Larry); daughter-in-law, Norma Hoehne; daughter, Sandra Kreig; step daughters, Linda Brown, Ronda Garlits; granddaughters, Sara

Hoehne, Haylie Hoehne, Amanda Krieg; great-granddaughters, Courtney Breen, Kara Krieg; great-grandson, Trenton  Breen. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; twin brother Clarence Hoehne; sister, Virginia Klause; brother-in-law, Wait Klause; grandson, Randy Krieg; granddaughter, Kerri Krieg. There will be no funeral. Lawrence would like to be remembered as he was and the family looks forward to seeing him again in The Resurrection (John 11:24, Acts 24:15, Daniel 12:2). Lawrence’s body will be cremated and his ashes will be  taken to the farm where he was born and raised.
