Leon Steven Ellis

Leon Steven Ellis, 38, of La Grange died Jan. 11, 2014 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. He was born Sept. 8, 1975 in La Grange to Lena B. (Ellis) and Leon Trusedale. He is survived by his mother; brother, Ronnie Ellis and wife Marline of Waelder; sister, Gloria Sandling of La Grange; and fiancee Delores Almeida of La Grange. He was preceeded in death by his father, grandparents, and two uncles.  Funeral services were held at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in La Grange at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. The Rev. John Caldwell officiated. Burial followed at Gay Hill Church Cemetery in La Grange. Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements
