Second Baptist Vacation Bible School Raises $1,200 For Hands of Hope

A VBS is not just for kids. Yes, children were certainly the focus of attention at the annual Vacation Bible School held at Second Baptist Church last week; and the 160 plus children who were registered were exposed to music, Bible stories, crafts and a variety of fun activities. But VBS would not have happened without the help of over 100 volunteers who created a setting in the church facilities which enhanced the theme “Submerged” and provided an atmosphere of being in an ocean of amazing adventure.
