German-American Day Proclaimed

Fayette County Judge Ed Janecka signed a proclamation Monday designating Oct. 6 as German- American Day in Fayette County. In part the proclamation stated that “Americans of German descent constitute the largest ethnic group in the United States of America, with more that 58 million Americans proudly proclaiming their German heritage.”
