Texas Dance Hall Preservation Society Holding Art Contest

Texas Dance Hall Preservation Society is holding a youth art contest in Fayette County to celebrate this area’s rich dance hall culture. Winners will be announced Nov. 12 at the Texas Dance Hall Preservation Dance at the Round Up Pavilion Hall in La Grange. That event will feature music by the Grammy Award-winning band Asleep at the Wheel with special guests The Ennis Czech Boys. Entries will be displayed in the hall on the night of the dance.
