LCRA, City of La Grange Present $19,995 Grant for Bugle Boy Building Repairs

The Bugle Boy music venue will receive a host of improvements – from flooring repairs to new walls and fresh paint – thanks to a $19,995 community development grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of La Grange. The grant also will pay for new window casings and screens, ceiling replacements, insulation and electrical repairs for the venue, which provides music-based programs and more than 100 live performances annually in a World War II U.S. Army barracks building that was moved to La Grange from Camp Swift Army Base in Bastrop.
