Gloria Lucille Kautz Krause

Gloria Lucille Kautz Krause, 92, of New Ulm, died Saturday June 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 17, 1924 near Willow Springs on her family’s farm. Gloria was the fourth of six children of Albert and Lydia (Muenzler) Lindemann. Gloria is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joe Krause, two sons, David Kautz and wife Patricia of New Ulm, and Daniel Kautz and wife Barbara of Columbus; two granddaughters, Natasha Avery and husband David of New Ulm, and Kimberly King and husband Ron of Midlothian; two grandsons Derek Kautz and wife Adriana of New Ulm, and Jason Wayne Kautz of Austin; one step grandson, Jerrod Gross and wife Lena of La Grange; great grandchildren, Tripp Avery, Jett Avery, River Kautz, Elizabeth King, Charles “Chip” King and Jessica Gross, and one sister Rosemary Carter of Pell City, Ala. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur A. Kautz; her parents, Albert and Lydia Lindemann; her daughter-in-law Lois Kautz; and brothers Lindy and wife Ruth Lindemann, Karl and wife Lorina Lindemann, Gus Lindemann; sisters, Marian and husband Egon Tietjen and brother-in-law Charles Carter. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg with graveside services following in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
