Yvette Hornak

Yvette Hornak, 59, of Houston, died Sunday, June 18, 2017. Yvette was born in Bellville on May 20, 1958, the daughter of Laddie and Beatrice (Zbranek) Hornak. She is survived by her father, Laddie; brother, Gordon Hornak and wife, Peggy; sister, Yvonne Nichols and husband, Jon David, of Houston; four nieces and nephews; and other loving family members. Yvette was a long-time employee with Kroger grocery store in Houston. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St. in Industry. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary was recited at 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Funeral Services were held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 15994 Hwy. 159 W in Industry, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Burial followed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
