Navidad CattleWomen Scholarships Open to Area High School Seniors

The Navidad Valley Cattle-Women (NVCW) are seeking applicants for their 2020 scholarships. Due to the generous support of the community of the 5K Ranch Run in August, numerous recipients will be awarded a scholarship of at least $500 with a total of $8,000 being distributed. Applicants must be a resident of Lavaca, Fayette or Colorado county and must be a senior in high school or the equivalent thereof. A completed NVCW scholarship application must be submitted along with an essay about her/himself, any agricultural influences and goals, involvement in the beef industry, and goals in life. Applicants must submit a copy of his/her transcript through mid-term of their senior year, rank and GPA.
