Bayer Beats out 140 Fisherman at Fayette Lake

Local fisherman Michael Bayer beat out 140 other fishermen at the Feb. 20 Kayak Angler Tournament Series stop at Fayette Lake. He won $2,160 for winning the title. This kayak bass fishing tournament is one of the largest in Texas and the nation, as some of the best fishermen in the nation battle against one another at some of the top fishing lakes in the U.S. Bayer is in second place in the overall tournament standings, very impressive considering the last three tournament series stops have had more than 100 fisherman each.
