Fayette Co. Fair Gives Out More Scholarships ($42,250 in all) Than Ever Before

The Fayette County Fair Association has broken its own record for amount of scholarship dollars given. Twenty seniors from Fayetteville, Flatonia, La Grange, Round Top-Carmine and Schulenburg will receive academic scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each, totaling $30,000. In addition to the academic scholarships, another $12,250 will be awarded to seniors who participated in the Fair Queen’s Pageant. An all-time high has been set in 2016 with $42,250 given out.
