Just a Thought School Ratings, Life Lessons and Accountability

Last week the Texas Education Agency released a first look at the state’s new A-F accountability ratings, and I don’t know about you, but the whole thing upset me. According to the state accountability system, our schools aren’t doing a very good job. Excuse me? I happen to think our schools are doing a great job. According to our local superintendents, the majority of the rating system is based on the results of the STAAR test.
