Disney World in a Day

What do you do when you have 12 hours to kill and you are in Orlando, Fla.? You find a way to get to Disney World and make the most of it.

That’s exactly the position I found myself in last Saturday. I was in Orlando to attend a media conference from Thursday to Saturday. When purchasing the airline tickets, I found that I received a considerable savings by coming home on Sunday instead of Saturday. With the help of my friend, Brandi, who was also attending the conference, we found a deal on some inexpensive hotel rooms that once again, gave us a better rate if we stayed through Saturday night.

The only thing we needed to figure out was how to get cheap tickets to Disney World and we’d be set. It turns out that they offer media passes (one per person per year) and we qualified to get them. So, without hesitation, when asked what we were doing on Saturday, we both said, “We’re going to Disney World!”
