Traveling with Google Maps

Traveling used to include a paper map with destinations and routes marked in pencil. My mom would usually be the navigator, while my dad was usually the driver. Today, instead of paper maps, I often rely on a navigation system either in my car or on my phone, specifically Google Maps. This usually works pretty well, until it doesn’t.

While delivering our “Visit Fayette” visitors guides this past weekend, I had a few of those experiences where we didn’t always end up where we were supposed to. One of them stands out above the others.
