Winners Crowned at the Fifth Annual Flatonia Rotary Club Golf Tournament

Flatonia Golf Course was buzzing, flags were waving, and golf balls were flying on Saturday, May 12 with sixty-eight golfers playing in the 5th annual Flatonia Rotary Club Golf Tournament. The weather was perfect, food was delicious and the golfers, playing for prizes, had a great springtime tournament.

Patricia Sattterwhite, President of the Rotary Club of Flatonia, said, “This annual fundraiser, where everyone has fun, benefits the humanitarian and charitable works of the Rotary Club of Flatonia for our community and surrounding area. Thank you to all our sponsors, players, volunteers, Flatonia High School Interact Club, Rotarians and the Flatonia Golf Association for making it a huge success.”

The winner of the First Flight was the team of John Zouzalik, Kenneth Ponder, Zane Ponder and Nancen Kainer. The winner of the Second Flight was the team of Josh Voss, Johnny Velasquez, Curt Sifkin, and Chris Mica. The winner of the Third Flight was the team of Bernie Satterwhite, E.J. Hadjik, Dale Toepperwein, and Jeff Steinhauser. Each of the flight winners received $200 for the team.
