Two Fayetteville Runners Head to State

Fayetteville High School’s Aaron Bremer, a senior, and Jennifer Harris, a junior, have qualified for the UIL State Cross Country Meet which will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. During the Region 4 UIL Cross Country Meet last weekend, Bremer placed ninth with a time of 17:13 and Jennifer Harris placed fourth in the girls division with a time of 12:14. “They had the best race times so far this year,” Coach Mitch Madden said. “They also had a great attitude of not giving up and determination of going after what they wanted – to make it to state.”
