Clinton Otis Herbrich, Sr. (Pops), 88, of La Grange, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017, at home where he felt most comfortable. Clinton was born in the Rabbs Prairie Community in Fayette County, Texas, on December 3, 1928, the son of Robert Paul and Amelie (Wolff) Herbrich.

Cheryl Underwood O’Riley, 57, of La Grange died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home. She was born on Sept. 13, 1959 to B.J. and Marlon S. O’Riley, Sr. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m.

Gladys Anna Herr, 83, died July 5, 2017 in Brenham. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Welcome Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Sutton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 5 until 7 p.m.

Carol Jean Kleiber Zwahr died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Carol was born Jan. 5, 1951, in Houston, to Edward “Doc” and Ruby Rauch Kleiber and was baptized into the Catholic faith which she so loved that same year on Jan.

Frank Clark Haynie, 72, of Spring, died Thursday, June 29, 2017. Frank was born in Orange, Texas on March 10, 1945, the son of Amzi Frank Haynie and Mae (Broussard) Haynie. He married Waltraud “Trudy” Reckert on March 26, 1976 in Houston.

Walter Schaefer, 75, of Bandera died June 26, 2017 in San Antonio. He was born in La Grange to Lona Havemann Schaefer and Walter Schaefer on April 24, 1942. Walter is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Katy Paige Schaefer.

Dianne Simper, 76, of Moulton, died on June 23, 2017. She was born on Feb. 10 1941 in Plum to Louis Janek and Viola Janek Vasek. Dianne attended Novarad School from 1st through 8th grade then later graduated from Moulton High School.
