Amy Elizabeth Pennington and Benjamin Toler Hays, both of Georgetown, were united in marriage on Aug. 26, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown. The bride is the daughter of Joe and Sandi Pennington of Georgetown.

On Sunday afternoon, Oct. 15, twenty-eight La Grange area residents came together just west of the courthouse in La Grange. They united their voices in song and prayer for America for some 45 minutes.

Fayetteville High School Class of 1996 gathered at Orsak’s Cafe to celebrate their 20 year class reunion. The graduating class consisted of nineteen students, but only eight were in attendance. Everyone enjoyed sharing old and new stories.
