The La Grange softball team has made the playoffs 23 years in a row.
Thursday, the Lady Leps showed they are not just content with making the postseason, but plan to enjoy this playoff run a little longer.

For the first time in recent memory, the La Grange boys golf team is state-bound.
The Leps had a strong first day and an even better second day at Raven’s Next Golf Club in Huntsville to snag the runnerup spot in Region 3-4A, and that state berth that goes along with it.

La Grange High School graduate Lauren Zbranek participated in the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor University in Waco Saturday. She ran against competitors from Texas A&M, Iowa State, Notre Dame, Abilene Christian, Baylor, and Texas Tech.

The La Grange baseball team closed out the district portion of their schedule with one of its best outings of the season as the Leps downed Caldwell 6-0 at home Friday.

The Fayetteville baseball team downed Ganado Tuesday 1-0 on the strength of a combined shutout by pitcher Jacob Schley and Jerrette Brown.
Schley hurled six innings of two-hit, nine-strikeout ball before Brown threw a hitless seventh inning to close out the win.

The Round Top-Carmine baseball team defeated Snook 10-4 Friday. Ethan Schobel was the winning pitcher, throwing six innings of five-hit ball with 12 strikeouts. Schobel also aided his cause with two hits, including a homer.

As the District 20-4A track meet concluded Thursday in Giddings, the La Grange boys reigned supreme.
The Leps won the district team title, edging Giddings by 26 points.
The La Grange girls were third as a team.
