Homer Bailey Looking Strong for Reds So Far

La Grange native Homer Bailey has gotten off to a strong start to the 2018 major league baseball season.

But his Cincinnati Reds teammates are not giving him much run support.

Through his first three games, Bailey has an 0-2 record but just a 3.24 ERA.

Flatonia Baseball Team Downs Fayetteville in District Action

The Flatonia baseball team defeated Fayetteville 8-7 Friday.

Fayetteville jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning, but Flatonia roared back with a six-run third inning. The Bulldogs scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth that proved to be the game-winners.

Leps Sweep Season Series With Smithville

The La Grange baseball team’s dominance versus Smithville is complete.

For the third time in district play, the Leps matched up against the Tigers Friday and for the third time La Grange prevailed, this time with a 5-0 victory.

Leps Soccer Season Ends in Area Round

The best season in the history of the La Grange soccer program ended Tuesday in Cameron as the Leps lost 1-0 to Taylor in the second round of the 4A playoffs.

Split Decision on the Diamond for La Grange

The La Grange softball team started off the second half of district play just like they did the first half – dominating.

The Lady Leps bashed Smithville on the road Thursday 16-0 to improve to 16-8 overall and 5-0 in district play.
