The La Grange High School boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams gathered Friday for a little pre-playoff party at Sno Leopard Snowballs. Both teams will begin the playoffs on March 29, as they travel to Pflugerville to take on Fredericksburg.

In a slugfest Wednesday, Flatonia beat Fayetteville 15-10 in the district opener for the Lions.
The win improved Flatonia’s district record to 2-0.
Flatonia was led by William Ackermann and Cameron Becker, who each had two hits.

The La Grange softball team bashed Navasota 11-0 Thursday to run their district consecutive win streak to a remarkable 70 games.
