Tuesday the always tough boys basketball team from Austin Regents came to town and downed the Leps 70-37, though for much of the game the score was much closer than the final indicated.

The La Grange girls basketball team is getting quite good at winning close games.
For the second consecutive contest the Lady Leps prevailed in a one-point win, downing Weimar 28-27 Tuesday in La Grange.
That comes on the heels of Friday’s one-point win over Brookshire.

La Grange’s J.K. Dobbins ran for 51 yards and one touchdown as the Ohio State football team beat Illinois 52-14 last Saturday.
Dobbins and the Buckeyes (who are 9-2 and ranked No. 8 in the nation) play Michigan this week.
