The La Grange boys Intermediate 50-70 All-Star baseball team is headed to the state tournament after beating Franklin Tuesday morning to win the Section 1 title game in Franklin. La Grange beat Bastrop in the quarterfi nals and Robertson County in the semis.

Homer Bailey is back on track.
On July 4, the La Grange native and pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds made his third start of the season after a long stint on the disabled list and was dominant, pitching six innings of one-run baseball in a 8-1 Reds victory.
