Locals Celebrate VFW’s 99th Birthday

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5254 were honored with a birthday cake with the meal at the October meeting. The ladies brought casseroles and desserts and sang the Happy Birthday song to honor the 99th birthday of the establishment of the  ational Veterans of Foreign Wars in September, 1914.The local VFW was chartered in 1945.
