Author of Book About Chicken Ranch to Give Talk at Library

This year marked the 40th anniversary of the closure of the infamous La Grange brothel dubbed the “chicken ranch.” Writer/blogger Jayme Blaschke spent three years researching and writing a book about the place entitled, Ghosts of the Chicken Ranch. Modern photographs in the book are by his wife, Lisa Elliot Blaschke. On Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m., Blaschke will read passages from his book at the Fayette Public Library. Copies of the book will be available to purchase.
