The Government and My Health

The government is always so concerned with my well being. In my lifetime I have seen multiple government regulations  oncerning my overall health. When I was a young child, the government decided that smoking was bad for your health, so many establishments created smoking and nonsmoking sections to accommodate the health concern. (I always found it odd that we had to walk through the smoking section to get to either the non-smoking section or the restroom.) Oh, and my favorite was being seated at a table in the non-smoking section right next to a table in the smoking section. Then, when I was a teenager, the legal age for drinking alcohol was changed – not once but twice. It was eighteen for many years, then it was nineteen for a few, and then became twenty-one where it has stayed
