County To Begin Air-Raid On Skunks This January

The Texas Department of State Health Services is expanding a pilot program aimed at reducing the number of rabid

skunks in the state, according to Dr. Beverlee Nix, Zoonosis Control Veterinarian. Dr. Nix gave a presentation to county

commissioners last week explaining the program which is due to begin the end of January, 2014.
