Audley Bernhard Hermann Muske, 85, of Round Top, died Dec. 13, 2013, at his residence. He was born Aug. 18, 1928,
in Shelby to Bruno and Elda (Ziese) Muske. He was baptized Aug. 14, 1929 by Rev. Carl Baer in Waldeck and confirmed
Sept. 10, 1944 by Rev. Julius Bosshard at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Shelby. On Jan. 16, 1949, he was married to Marian Keilers at St. John Lutheran Church of Warrenton. He was involved with the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department, Sons of Hermann and was secretary-treasurer and caretaker of the Latium Cemetery. He was a self-employed rancher and farmer. He farmed various crops, including cotton, milo, corn and hay. Raising livestock, working cattle and doing custom work for neighbors and friends was an everyday way of life for him. He loved the outdoors, taking many hunting trips to the Hill Country with his brothers, family gatherings and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 64 years; sons and daughtersin- law, Doyle Gene and Pamela Muske of Latium, Boyd Lee and Paula Muske of Brownwood and Audley Jr. and Angela Muske of Cypress; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and David Novosad of Fayetteville; brother, Emmett Muske of Burton; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Glenver Eilers of Brenham; and sister-in-law, Leda Mae Muske
of Katy; grandchildren, Jeremy Muske, Carrie Brending and husband Lucas, Stephanie Jordan and friend Justin  astleman, Brandon, Jenny and Kyle Novosad, Taylor Muske and Jacob Muske; stepgrandchildren, Joseph and James Ford, Gage McMahon and Kylie McMahon; great-grandchildren, Trent Muske, Hunter Castleman, Jakelyn Jordan and Leann Rose Brending; and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, grandson Dutch Muske, and brother Nelson Muske. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Burial followed in the Latium Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Pallbearers were Kyle Novosad, Brandon Novosad, Jacob Muske, Roger Eilers, Lucas Brending and Jeremy Muske.  Memorials may be directed to Latium Cemetery Association, Hospice Brazos Valley-
