Wilhelm Bernhard “Bill” Domasch died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. Bill was born on Jan. 3, 1922 in Warda to Alvin and Lydia (Pietsch) Domasch. He was baptized at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda on Jan. 22, 1922 by Rev. Gottfried Buchschacher and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Greens Creek on April 13, 1936 by Rev. Paul C. Eifert. Bill was united in marriage to Aura Lee Wendler on Dec. 13, 1940 in Houston. He was a farmer and rancher who had also been employed as an electrician, carpenter and truck driver. He enjoyed being  outdoors, hunting and fishing. He taught each of his great-grandchildren how to fish. He is survived by his two  aughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Larry Spence of Rosanky and Helen and Innis Wagner Jr. of Warrenton;  two grandchildren, Denise Wolff of Austin and Carrie Wagner of Warrenton; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Wolff of San  Antonio and Chris Baumbach of La Grange; four nieces, Evelyn Strangemeyer of Brenham, Ann Schwinger of Houston,  Julie  Strong of Austin and Myra Nowicki of Ledbetter and a nephew, Michael Albers of Waldeck. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sistersin- law, Minnie Albers and husband, Eddie, and Zita Albers and  husband, Alfred; two brothersin- law, Hubert Wendler and wife Clara, and Arno Wendler and wife Maxine. Visitation will be held on
Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m
Funeral services for Bill Domasch, 91, of Ledbetter will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Holy Cross  Lutheran Church in Warda with Rev. Dennis Tegtmeier officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church Ladies Aid or to the charity of one’s choice. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
