Jeffrey Dwayne Michael

Jeffrey Dwayne Michael, 40, of Columbus died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Houston Methodist Hospital. Jeffrey was born in Houston on Oct. 2, 1973, the son of Harold and Allean (Krenek) Michael. He married Brandi Shuford on May 5, 2001 at  the First United Methodist Church in Sealy. He was employed as a Line Mechanic and worked his way up to Operations Supervisor. Jeffrey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, loved his family and was a friend to many. He was well known to his family for his annual fish fry. He is survived by his wife, Brandi, of twelve years; in-laws,

Randy and Judy Shuford of Beasley and Karen Wilson and Jeff Richie of Katy; sister-inlaw and brother-in-law, Stacie

and Jerry Williams of Houston; three uncles, Sidney Bilnka and wife, Mildred of Richmond; Luke Kubecka and wife, Gloria, of Troup; Gilbert Englehart and wife, Dorothy, of Needville; three nieces, Maggie “Mu”, Jessa and Lilly Williams; numerous cousins and faithful companions, Princess and Cody. He was preceded in death by his parents;  grandparents, Rudolph and Ester Michael and Pearl and Leo Krenek; and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Knesek Chapel in Fayetteville. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Koenig & Strickland Knesek Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. Burial  will follow at Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery.
