Falling Tree Crushes Worker

Tuesday at 10:50 a.m. a worker with a tree-cutting crew working behind a home on Camp Lone Star Road was crushed when a massive tree he was cutting down fell on top of him. The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, but were significant enough that he had to be life-flighted to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Above, members of Fayette County EMS, the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department work to help the man.
