Gas Leak at Demolition Site

The building demolition occurring on the 500 block of East Travis Street in La Grange took a dangerous turn Wednesday morning about 11 a.m. when a 3/4-inch gas line was ruptured. Members of the La Grange volunteer fire department, above, responded to the incident and were able to stop the leak temporarily until a CenterPoint energy crew came to fix line
