Eleven Cattle Die in Wreck

A cattle truck hauling 110 head of cattle north on SH 237 left the roadway about 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning near the intersection of Huenefeld Road and turned over on its side in the steep bar ditch. The driver was uninjured and refused transport by Fayette County EMS, but eleven of the cattle were killed and two escaped, one of which went missing, 

according to Fayette County sheriff’s deputy Ron Naumann
