Clinton “Clint” Robert Pyburn

Clinton “Clint” Robert Pyburn, 57, of La Grange, went home to heaven on Feb. 5, 2014. Clinton was born in Angleton on July 20, 1956. He was married to Iris Rae Pyburn on April 26, 1996; they were married 18 years. Clinton was an Eagle Scout and an Airforce Verteran, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Clinton was a  handsome, gregarious, and philosophical man. His charisma was infectious and touched many that he met. He was  poetic and strong in body and mind. He was a spiritual man who believed so passionately in our heavenly father. He was always prepared for a debate, reparte, or just a heartfelt conversation, and was never one to mince words. If you asked or even if you didn’t he would give you the shirt off his back. He was a man who believed in working with his hands and often did. His hands were sturdy and worn, marked with age and dedication, hands that handled iron and steel, soil and sod. He was a man we will miss and remember always. Clinton Robert Pyburn thank you for your life this is not goodbye but until we see you again. Clinton is survived by his wife, Iris Rae Pyburn; daughters, Nicole Rochelle Orr and husband Justin Wayne Orr, Jennifer Renee Baskin and husband Jason Daniel Baskin; son Jacob Robert Pyburn; step-daughter, Kari Jo Blachly; step-son, Richard Dallas Blachly and wife Jenny Blachly; grandchildren, Morgan Kane Blachly, Malachi Jeffery Orr, Kaitlyn Paige Blachly, Makayla Katheryn Orr, Harper Rose Baskin, Conner Dallas Blachly, and Audrey Robyn Baskin; mother, Shirley Kay Pyburn; sister, Rhoda Cathleen Tutt and husband Wayne Tutt, and their children; sister, Jacquelyn Pyburn Head and husband Bonnie Dewayne Head and their children; brother, Alan Pyburn and wife Lynne Pyburn and their children; daughter, Christy Lynn Noak and her husband and their children. Clinton is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Dies Pyburn Sr., grandmother, Martha Pyburn, and father, Jack Dies Pyburn, Jr.

Services were held at 4 p.m. at Piney Creek Ranch on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. His final restingplace will be at the family cemetary in Piney Creek Cemetary in La Grange.
