A Homemade Valentine’s Day

It is nearing Valentine’s Day and we’ve known it for weeks according to store displays. When I was in school, we had to remember to bring an oatmeal box for Valentine’s. We covered the box with pretty things and then the top went on and we finished our decoration on the lid. The teacher would come by and cut a slit for the insertion of all the Valentines we would  be receiving at the Valentine Party that the teacher and some of the mothers were preparing. I never could wait. (I had no patience at all!)
