Kids & Quilts

Friday, 32 students from the Austin Discovery School visited the Texas Quilt Museum in downtown La Grange so they

could view quilts as part of their own quilt-making project at school. Pictured are the kids “framing” the quilt they made themselves, in the Museum. The kids’ quilt featured blocks telling stories about the different cultural heritages of the kids. Some had grandparents from Ireland, Norway, Germany and England.
