LG’s Bailey Becomes $105 Million Man

Homer Bailey was already the most famous person from Fayette County – now he’s the richest too. Wednesday Bailey and the Cincinnati Reds agreed to a six-year contract extension that will pay the 27-year-old La Grange native $105 million.

That’s an average of $17.5 million a season for the star right-handed pitcher, who has thrown no-hitters in each of the last  two seasons and has become a fixture in the Reds starting rotation
