Nollie Ann (Faldyn) Ricklefsen

Nollie Ann (Faldyn) Ricklefsen, 91, of Pearland, formerly of La Grange, went home to the loving arms of the Lord on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Nollie was born in Weimar on May 3, 1922, the daughter of William and Josephine (Winslow) Faldyn. She married Fred Ricklefsen in 1940 in La Grange. Nollie was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother,  grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed going to church every Sunday. Nollie was known for her tremendous sense of style. She is survived by two sons: Freddie Ricklefsen and wife, Mary, of Pearland, and James Ricklefsen of Houston; one daughter, Jo Ann Lloyd and husband, Steve, of Pearland; sister, Leona Orsak of Katy; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Fred, of 52 years; baby brother, Leo; and daughter-inlaw, Meri Jo Ricklefsen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland  Funeral Home. Family received

friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.
