Jack W. Franklin

Jack W. Franklin, Sr., 71, of Aiken, South Carolina, a native of Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014. He was born in  Henderson on Sept. 16, 1942, the son of J.T. and Virginia Bell (Reed) Franklin. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Johnston Franklin; two sons, Jack W. “Will” Franklin, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth Casillas, of Houston and Dr. Rob Franklin and wife, Laurie Jenschke, of Weatherford; four grandchildren, Aidan Franklin, Joshua Franklin, Bree Franklin and Colbie Franklin; two brothers, Albert Reed Franklin and wife, Patricia; Joel I. Franklin and wife, Lucy; one sister, Francine Franklin Mellon along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at Saints Cyril & Methodius  Catholic Church in Dubina at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.
