Lawrence Dobbins

Lawrence Dobbins, 33, of La Grange died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. He was born Aug. 16, 1980 in La Grange to C. L. and Rita (Smith) Dobbins. He was a member of Ebenezer Bapitst Church in La Grange. He is survived by his parents; sons, J’Kaylin Dobbins of La Grange and Aiden Dobbins of Houston; daughters, Desreil Dobbins and Tomina Smith, both of Austin; sisters, Sharonda Dobbins of Houston, Marshone Dobbins of La Grange, and Shalonda Johnson and husband Rodney, Sr. of La Grange. He was preceeded in death by his  grandparents, one brother, and one newphew. Visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange. Funeral services will be held at Second Baptist Church in La Grange at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 with the Rev. N. L. Eason officiating. Burial will follow in the La Grange City Cemetery. Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange is in charge of arrangements.
