LCRA Donations Help Restore One of County’s Oldest Homes

The Lower Colorado River Authority awarded a $4,500 grant to the Faison Preservation Society (FPS) to help in the restoration of the museum rooms in the historic Faison House. The Faison House was built in the 1850s for one of the earliest settlers to the area, Nathaniel W. Faison, who died in 1870.
