Locals Beat Hundreds of Teams In Houston Livestock BBQ Contest

Last year, local Go Texan barbecue cookoff team “Sauced Up & Smokin’ ” represented Fayette County at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo World Championship BBQ Cook Off. The HLSR has been going on for 32 years and attracts about

a quarter-million people annually.
