Voter Turnout Here for Primaries Higher Than Statewide Average

A flurry of 301 ballots on the final day of early voting last Friday plus mail-in ballots brought Fayette County’s early vote total to a record high after all. Despite a strongly contested county judge race, however, the total ballots cast in the 2014 primaries was still lower than four years ago, and up only slightly from 2012.
