The Truth About DST, (or At Least How I See It)

Daylight Savings Time (DST) – the practice of advancing clocks during the months of longer days so that evenings have more daylight and mornings have less. What? You mean we really don’t get an “extra” hour of daylight? Yes, when you put it this way, it does seem absurd and yet, many people feel that they actually get an extra hour of daylight. I guess when the sun set at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 and then at approximately 7:30 on March 9, you do feel like you have gotten an extra hour of daylight
