Paul Brinkley, an expert on economic development married to 1985 La Grange High School graduate Cynthis Laffey  Brinkley is out with a new book on Afghanistan which is receiving a lot of national notice. The author grew up in Wylie

and graduated from Texas A&M where he met and married his wife. Mr. Brinkley’s in-laws are Bob and Glenna Laffey of La

Grange.
