Local 911 Dispatchers Honored

In 1991, Congress proclaimed  the second week of April as a national week of recognition annually dedicated to the men and women who serve as Public Safety Telecommunicators. The week of recognition honors the thousands of men

and women nationwide who respond to emergency calls, dispatch emergency professionals and equipment, and render lifesaving assistance to the citizens of the United States
