Sometimes the Handwriting on the Wall is Just Graffiti

In the past few weeks, there has been much ink spilled on these pages over the subject of party switching. The recent  primary elections featured candidates on both sides of the aisle who had recently switched political parties. One letter- riter suggested that a few local candidates had “read the handwriting on the wall” and switch to the Republican Party. So, I  thought it might be useful to take a look at that handwriting
