Why Walk When You Can Ride?

I started school at Radhost in 1950. I walked to school along with my older brother and sister and a bunch of other kids

that joined us on our fourmile trek. In my second year of school, we hopped a ride on a stakebed truck carrying raw milk in ten-gallon cans. Mr. Fred Rohan was the milkman who kindly let us ride on the back of his flatbed stake truck each morning
