Agnes Ann (Mazoch) Struve

Agnes Ann (Mazoch) Struve, 95, of La Grange, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Care Inn of La Grange. Agnes was born in Holman on June 27, 1918, the daughter of the late Cyril and Anna (Vacek) Mazoch. Agnes was a homemaker caring for her loving four daughters. Her enjoyment was playing bridge with her family and friends. She is survived by four daughters: Barbara Niemeyer and husband, Eugene, of La Grange; Carol Johnson and husband, James, of La Grange; Rita Grobe and husband, Richard, of Columbus; Pam Struve Fite of Austin; granddaughter, Christina Niemeyer and husband, Bob Zeller; granddaughter, Suzanne Niemeyer; grandson, Todd Johnson and wife, Roxanne; granddaughter, Brittani Roberts and husband, Doug; grandson, Drew Grobe and wife, Courtney; granddaughter, Andrea Polasek and husband, Greg; granddaughter, Vicki Grobe and fiancée, Josh Melnar; granddaughter, Kalli Skaggs and husband, Cody; granddaughter, Kari Blomdahl; granddaughter, Kelsey Blomdahl; and sister, Alma Berger of Houston; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Adolph Elias; second husband, Victor Struve; granddaughter, Jami Blomdahl; three brothers: John Mazoch, Jimmie Mazoch and Jerome Mazoch; and sister, Leona Watzlavick. Visitation was held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Private funeral services will be held at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and private burial will follow at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, 9516 Anton Salas Loop, La Grange, Texas 78945; La Grange Volunteer Fire Dept., 155 E.
