Veronica (Vernie) Mueller
Veronica (Vernie) Mueller died comfortably in Spring on April 18, 2014. She was born on Dec. 12,1932 in Anderson, the daughter of Steve and Bessie Stepanski. Vernie drove school busses for Aldine ISD for 23 years. She loved gardening, grandkids and great grandkids. She was a people person and loved to talk to everyone. She is survived by her son, Carl Mueller and wife, Wenda of Kingwood; daughter, Theresa Lucher, and husband Hearmon of Spring, Linda Wischnewsky and herhusband Bruce of Waldeck; two brothers, Philip Stepanski and wife Betty of New Waverly, and Martin Stepanski of Houston; two sisters, Gertrude Pavloski and Helen Duke and husband J.W.; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua and Jared Lucher; Brian and Brandon Wischnewsky; Brooke and Blake Mueller, and six great-grandchildren, Kate and Karly Lucher; Addison and Greyson Lucher; and Colton and Emma Wischnewsky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Mueller, and one son Harold Mueller Jr. Visitation was held from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 21. The family was present from 4 to 6 p.m. and a rosary followed at 6 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2014 starting at 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Final resting place will be in the Waldeck Cemetery in Waldeck. Family suggests memorials can be made to the Alzheimers Association, or the charity of your choice. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
